Norfolk 7-Eleven robbed during Hurricane Matthew

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A man robbed a Norfolk 7-Eleven during Hurricane Matthew Saturday night.

Detectives say the man came into the store in the 3200 block of Chesapeake Boulevard around 8:20 p.m. armed with a handgun. There were no injuries reported.

Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect. He is described as a black man, about 6-feet tall, last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt under a black jacket with white lettering.
