Man pleads guilty to charges in 2015 shooting death of 15-year-old

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man pleaded guilty Friday to second-degree murder in the 2015 shooting death of a 15-year-old in Norfolk.

Michael Tyson-Johnson, 20, also pleaded guilty to one count of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Tyson-Johnson was charged following the February 23, 2015 shooting death of Jacquil Harris in the 800 block of Wilson Road.

Tyson-Johnson is expected to be sentenced in January 2017.
