VIRGINIA (WAVY) — Virginia is partnering with ride-sharing company Uber for October Wine Month.

If you use the service, you can get discounts on wine tastings, merchandise and bottles of wine.

Governor Terry McAuliffe announced the partnership Thursday to promote safe driving. He wants to make sure there’s a safe way to visit the Commonwealth’s more than 280 wineries.

The discounts apply to six wineries near Charlottesville, Richmond and Leesburg. Click here to learn more.
