In The Kitchen: Bruschetta and Arugula Salad with Lemon Basil Vinaigrette

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – We had an Italian feast today in our kitchen and that’s normally the case whenever John McLaurin, the chef and owner at Mangia Qui Italian Bistro in Virginia Beach, visits us!

John made a three course meal and he was joined by wine expert Wes Wilkins who paired the perfect wine with each dish.

1st course: Bruschetta and Arugula Salad with Lemon Basil Vinaigrette

2nd course: Bruschetta

3rd Course: Seafood Pizza
Wine pairing: Ankida Ridge Chardonnay
