Verizon service outages restored in NE North Carolina

NORTH CAROLINA (WAVY) — Hundreds of Verizon Wireless customers in the Outer Banks and across northeastern North Carolina reported outages to the company Thursday.

According to Verizon’s outage page, more than 230 outages were reported in the region. The most affected area, according to the outage reports, is Kill Devil Hills.

There were also reports out of Manteo, Elizabeth City,  Kitty Hawk, Moyock, Rodanthe and Nags Head, to name a few.

A Verizon spokesperson said the outages were restored at 5:05 p.m. Thursday.
