Some lanes of N. Main St. in Suffolk closed due to high water

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Tidal flooding and high water has closed the outside lanes on both sides of North Main Street at the Kimberly Bridge in Suffolk.

The inside lanes are still open.

The National Weather Service has Suffolk and other areas in Hampton Roads under a coastal flood advisory until 8 p.m. Wednesday. Minor flooding is possible a few hours on either side of high tide cycles.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) predicts high tide in Hampton Roads to be around 12 p.m. Wednesday and about 12:43 a.m. Thursday.
