Alleged peeping tom incident inside a Williamsburg restaurant

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — A woman using the restroom at a Williamsburg restaurant says she was the victim of a peeping tom.

Williamsburg police say they are looking for the suspect from the incident.

Police say they were called to the Bourbon Street Bar and Grill on York Street around 1 a.m. Sunday. A woman at the restaurant told officers she was in the ladies restroom when a man stood on the toilet in the stall next to hers and looked in at her. Police say she described the man as a short, heavyset black male with a bald head.

This suspect reportedly fled the restaurant in an unknown direction just after the encounter.
