Local event schedule changes due to Hurricane Matthew

Hurricane Matthew is no longer a major threat to the Hampton Roads area, but it was earlier in the week, and that’s when local event organizers had to make the difficult decision whether or not to continue with their plans. Several of them chose to cancel or postpone events because of the forecast at the time, which threatened to bring high winds and flooding to the WAVY TV viewing area this upcoming weekend.

10 On Your Side will continue to update this list until the storm passes. If you have storm-related news about a major local event not listed below, please email the information to reportit@wavy.com
