Marshals release wrong photo of murder suspect; suspect at-large

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – The U.S. Marshals have determined that a man in a wedding photo that they thought was Jihad Ramadan is indeed NOT him.

According to the U.S. Marshals, investigators followed leads after the release of the photo and found that the man, pictured as the groom, was in fact not Ramadan.

Ramadan, 30, allegedly stabbed a student to death in 2005, and has been on the run since. The stabbing happened a restaurant on Queen Street.

Ramadan remains at large as the investigation continues.
