Saturday, October 1 : Old 97’s @ The NorVA  

The Old 97’s are headed to the NorVA this Saturday for an epic show you won’t want to miss! The Dallas band’s country and punk fusion has peaked interest from fans for more than 20 years and now they are bringing that sound to Norfolk. The Old 97’s have received rave reviews from The New York Times, Rolling Stone and Billboard just to name a few. Head out and catch the their performance at the NorVA. Doors open at 7 p.m. and tickets start at $19.50.


Saturday, October 1 : Virginia Children’s Festival @ Town Point Park

Use your imagination to explore and create at the 28th annual Virginia Children’s Festival! The family festival will have more than 100 fun, creative and interactive activities that children 10 and younger can enjoy. Get your picture with costumed characters from your favorite book or movie, have fun with arts & crafts and so much more! The event is happening this Saturday at Town Point Park from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and tickets are just $5.


Saturday, October 1 : Williamsburg Book Festival @ The Center Stryker  (412 N. Boundary St. Williamsburg, VA) 

The 4th annual Williamsburg Book Festival is happening this Saturday! New York Times bestselling author, Rita Mae Brown, will be the featured author in the festival that spotlight’s regional authors. She will be joined by over 40 local and regional authors that will also be showcasing their published works in many different genres. Attendees can interact with the authors, ask questions and of course pick up some great new books! The event is happening at the Stryker center in Williamsburg, Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and is free to all attendees!
