RV catches fire at entrance to Fort Monroe

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — An RV caught fire at the entrance of Fort Monroe late Friday morning.

Hampton fire officials tell WAVY.com the RV was pulling another car and the back of the RV caught on fire.

In a tweet Friday morning, Hampton Fire reported that two people were in the RV during the fire, which happened around 11:20 a.m.

The fire was ruled accidental in nature, and officials say a mechanical failure caused the fire.
