VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — No one was hurt in two separate multi-vehicle crashes that were reported within minutes of each other in Virginia Beach Wednesday morning, police say.
The first accident, a three-car crash, was reported just after 7 a.m. on Malibu Palms Drive where it intersects with Rosemont Road.
Linda Keuhn with Virginia Beach Police said the crash at Malibu Palms Drive involved a pickup truck and two small passenger vehicles.
Three minutes after this crash, police received a call of another accident on Rosemont Road at Lampel Avenue.
Police say someone stole a vehicle and hit six cars.
The driver of the stolen car is currently in custody. Police have not released this person’s name yet. Stay with WAVY News 10 for the latest updates.
