SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Suffolk police are asking for the public’s help to find an endangered runaway teen.

Police say they received a report at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday that 16-year-old Kaevon Malik Alston ran away from home.

Police described him as a light-skinned black male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing around 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Alston was last seen Tuesday morning wearing black shorts, a grey zip-up hoodie and black and white high top shoes. He has pink bands on the braces on his teeth. He normally wears glasses but police say he did not take them with him.

Kaevon has a medical condition that requires medicine, which he didn’t take with him, which makes him endangered.

If you see Alston, you’re asked to call 911 or your local police department.
