GOP Vice Presidential nominee Mike Pence to rally in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence is set to appear at a rally in Williamsburg on Sept. 20.

According to the campaign schedule on GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump’s website, Gov. Pence will be outside the The Capitol building in Colonial Williamsburg at 500 E. Duke of Gloucester Street at 7:30 p.m. Gates open at 4:30 p.m.

Tickets are available on the campaign website for the Williamsburg event.

There’s a limit of two tickets per cellphone number per event.

Colonial Williamsburg issued a statement on Pence’s planned event:

Governor Mike Pence will hold a rally Tuesday starting at 4:30 p.m. on Duke of Gloucester Street outside the Capitol Building adjacent to the Colonial Williamsburg property. The rally, which was approved by the City of Williamsburg, is not a Colonial Williamsburg event. The event will be held on public property and will be managed using city resources. As a 501(c)(3) organization, The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation does not endorse any particular candidate or political party.”
