PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Two men are being sought in Portsmouth for an overnight  armed robbery of a 7-Eleven store.

Police say the suspects entered the store on Airline Boulevard at shortly after 3 a.m., showed handguns and demanded money from an employee.

Surveillance footage released Friday shows the suspects behind the counter grabbing various items and putting them in bags. The worker appears to open a cash register before being forced to the ground.

The suspects ran out of the store in an unknown direction after the robbery.

This incident was one of three overnight robberies on Friday, Sept. 16 — all of which took place in different cities.
