UPDATE: Portsmouth man with short term memory loss found safe

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Investigators say themissing man who has short-term memory loss in Portsmouth has been found and sent home safety with family.

59-year-old Michael Walker was last seen at 9:30 a.m. on September 7, at his home in the 5800 block of Eric Street. Police say Walker gets lost very easily.

Walker was described as a black male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans and a hat. Walker has a distinct birthmark on the center of his forehead.
