PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth police say they are looking for two suspects who were seen on surveillance cameras stealing from a car at a BP Gas station.

Police say that on Saturday, Sept. 10, someone went into the station’s convenience store with their car parked at a gas pump.

One of the suspects in the surveillance footage reportedly took this person’s wallet and cellphone.

Footage released Thursday shows two males standing outside of the car for several moments, and looking into the convenience  store.

One of them is seen going into to the car and grabbing something before running away.

The two suspect are also seen in the footage talking to a female exiting the store, seconds before this theft.

Anyone with information on the suspects can contact the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
