STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) – A tractor-trailer carrying yogurt flipped on U.S. 20 in Steuben County, Indiana early Thursday morning.

According to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department, Devin Workman, 26, Redbluff, California, was driving west on U.S. 20 near County Road North 900 West when he failed to properly negotiate a curve in the road.

The crash was reported at 12:19 a.m.

Workman’s semi hit a guardrail at the sharp curves near Otter Lake and flipped.

A department statement said Workman didn’t know the curve was so sharp.

The crash caused the trailer to split open, spilling yogurt on the road.

Police closed U.S. 20 at times overnight and all lanes were back open to traffic by mid-morning.

Workman was checked by paramedics and did not have any serious injuries.

Police shifted lanes of traffic while investigators worked the scene.
