CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – The Chesapeake Health Department says a kitten tested positive for rabies after being found in the 1800 block of Rockwood Drive on September 8.

Officials say the kitten was taken to the vet on September 9 because of its “very aggressive behavior.” The kitten eventually had to be euthanized.
