Driver, passenger injured after truck overturns in Chesapeake

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Police say a truck was off-road driving on farm land at the Cavalier Wildlife Reserve in Chesapeake when it overturned Thursday night.

Emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle crash in the 3800 block of Ballahack Road at 7:20 p.m.

The truck was driven by an 17-year-old. The driver was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with what appear to be non life-threatening injuries.

There were five passengers in the vehicle.  One of the passengers, an 18-year-old man, was also taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police originally said three people were injured.
