Woman accused of taking child along while she stole from Apple Store

COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A Columbus woman is wanted for allegedly stealing from the Easton Apple Store while a 3-year-old child tagged along.

According to Columbus police, it happened on August 24 around 7:40pm. Monique N. Giles, the child and another woman were seen walking into the Easton Apple Store together.

Police said Giles was seen on video taking items from wall racks and putting them in her purse or down her pants. She was also seen on camera at the Polaris Apple Store stealing items, according to police.

Giles is charged with felony theft. Columbus police say she also has several warrants for her arrest from Whitehall police and the Franklin County Sheriff’s office.
