ACCOMACK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — Authorities say a man wanted in the shooting death of a 39-year-old Mappsville man has been arrested.
Tyqon Demetrius Robins is facing charges of first-degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle in connection with the June 24 shooting incident.
The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office says an investigation was started on June 24 after authorities received reports of gunshots being fired between occupants of different cars.
Fardale Antonio Johnson, 39, was pronounced dead at the scene on Nathanial Street in Mappsville.
Robins is being held at Accomack County Jail without bond.
Troopers from Virginia State Police assisted in the arrest of Robins.
