Missing 2-year-old boy found safe in York County

YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — A 2-year-old boy who was reported missing in York County has been found safe.

The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office says the child was last seen playing in the front yard of a house on Paradise Point Road playing with a dog before being reported missing.

The child was found one block away from the house.

Authorities say the boy’s name is Andrew and the dog, a black and white English Springer Spaniel Poodle, is named Izzy.

The sheriff’s office says no charges have been filed at this time.
