Va. Educator’s Credit Union robbed at gunpoint in Newport News

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Newport News police are looking for whoever robbed a Virginia Educator’s Credit Union Thursday morning.

Police say officers were called to the scene at 812 Main Street around 9:20 a.m. for a robbery.

The suspect was reportedly wearing a mask, was armed with a gun and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. He took off in a car heading toward Hampton.
