In the Kitchen-Crab Cakes over Succotash with Aioli and Chives

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) –  In the kitchen today was John McLaurin – chef and owner of Mangia Qui Italian Bistro in Virginia Beach. He made Crab Cakes over Succotash with Aioli and Chives.

The restaurant has a new seasonal menu coming on September 6 along with a wine tasting September 17 at 3 p.m. featuring wines from Spain . Reservations are required.

Other upcoming events include a Beatle-themed event on Sept 29 and in October, Mangia Qui is teaming up with “Art with Heart” to do an event for Make A Wish Foundation. Mangia Qui is also partnering with The Hampton Roads Show to fight hunger in Hampton Roads. Look for more on that throughout the month of September here on The Hampton Roads Show.
