NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk health officials are offering free back-to-school immunizations as a part of National Immunization Awareness Month.
The immunizations are being offered for 4 and 5-year-olds about to attend school, rising 6th grade students and students who are new to the Virginia Public School system.
The walk-in clinics are being held at the following locations (and times):
- Little Creek Multi-Service Center: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays
- 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Norfolk Department of Public Health: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays
- 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
For last-minute walk-in immunizations, health officials are offering clinics Thursday, Aug. 25, and Thursday, Sept. 1, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on both days.
Parents are asked to bring their child’s immunization record to the clinics.
