All clear given in Hampton GD Courthouse bomb threat

HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) – Emergency officials have given the “All Clear” after a sweep of the Hampton General District Courthouse found no suspicious devices.

Police say a bomb threat was made to the courthouse around 9:07 a.m., Friday morning.

The courthouse was evacuated and King Street, between Lincoln Street and Pembroke Avenue, was closed while the sweep happened.

Police are investigating where the bomb threat came from.
