1 dead, 19 injured in bus collision in New Jersey

NEWARK, New Jersey (WTNH) – Two buses have collided into each other in Newark early Friday morning.

WABC reports that the New Jersey Transit buses ran into each other likely at high speed around 6:00 a.m. this morning at North Broad Street and Raymond Boulevard.

One of the buses appears to have been nearly split in half.

According to Newark Police Department, the driver of one of the buses was killed.

Several emergency and officers are currently on the scene.

WABC reporting at least 1 dead, 19 injured in crash.
