Norfolk police: Two men suffer life-threatening injuries in fight

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man suffered life-threatening injuries in a fight in Norfolk Thursday afternoon.

At about 1:00 p.m., dispatchers received a call regarding an argument that turned physical in the 4100 block of Heutte Drive. The caller said two men were seriously hurt after the argument between several adults turned violent.

When police and paramedics arrived on scene, they found two men suffering from serious injuries. Both were immediately taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Police say preliminary investigation reveals that the men suffered injuries consistent with blunt force trauma. The men are still hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

The scene has been contained. Police are still investigating.
