Mime to perform wedding for 2 clowns in South Knoxville

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – There may be as many laughs as tears of joy at Carnee Biscuitt and Candi Sour’s wedding.

Last year Biscuitt proposed on stage as part of his final act and Sour said yes. The proposal was captured by StarrLightImages.

On Saturday at 5:00 p.m. the couple is taking clown love to the next level at a ceremony at Creature Seeker’s Dark Market in South Knoxville. Eric Brown, owner of the shop said Biscuitt and Sour will be married by a mime. They also have a trained pig that will roll out the red carpet for the happy couple, a bearded lady, fire breathers and jugglers.

“This amazing clown blew my mind on stage with the absolute perfect proposal! Now it only makes sense that this year our wedding will blow your mind,” said Candi Sour on her Facebook page.

Brown said Biscuitt and Sour actually performed at his wedding, so he’s very excited that they’re having their wedding at his shop. He says the fringe art community is a big family and everyone knows each other.

“We’re just really excited that we get to share this day with them and bring the whole community of performers and bring this circus atmosphere to South Knoxville,” said Brown.

The wedding is open to the public. Those attending are encouraged to arrive early. At the end of the night there will be a burlesque show.
