JCC resident announces candidacy for 93rd District House seat

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) — Former Williamsburg-James City School Board Vice Chairman Heather Cordasco announced Tuesday her candidacy for the the Virginia House of Delegates in the 93rd District.

Cordasco is the Republican nominee and is seeking to succeed Delegate Monty Mason, who’s running for the state Senate.

Cordasco is a 23-year resident of the Peninsula and served on the Williamsburg/James City County School Board from 2012 to 2015. While on school board, Cordasco served in various leadership capacities as chair of multiple subcommittees, and eventually vice-chair.

The Democrats have chosen Michael Mullin for the 93rd District.
