Ravens to air Michael Phelps race during preseason game

The Baltimore Ravens will air NBC’s live coverage of the Rio Olympics during their Thursday night preseason game when Michael Phelps swims the 200-meter individual medley final.

Phelps, a Baltimore native and life-long Ravens fan, could capture his 26th Olympic medal in Thursday night’s race, which is scheduled for 10pm ET.
Meanwhile, at the same time, the Ravens will be playing the Carolina Panthers at M&T Bank Stadium in their first preseason game of the 2016-2017 season. Fans will get to watch the race during a comercial break.
The Ravens also aired one of Phelps’ races at the 2008 Beijing Olympics during a preseason game. Needless to say, Phelps won gold.
