SMITHFIELD, Va. (WAVY) — Police in Smithfield said on Monday that they were able to clear a warrant thanks to the popular mobile game Pokemon Go.

Ricquel Barham, 23, has been charged with 1 count of felony embezzlement.

Police say her sister saw a department’s Facebook post concerning Pokemon Go, and called her about it.

In the Facebook post, Smithfield police invited a select number of people to come the station and catch a rare Pokemon that was in the processing room.

Police say Barham went to the department and surrendered.
