In your hometown, or when you head home, what are your favorite spots to relax, eat out, etc?

When I go home to Atherton/Menlo Park I absolutely HAVE TO:

1. Go shopping at Afterwards, the consignment store my mom works at.
2. Get pancakes at Ann’s Coffee Shop.
3. Go visit the horses and relax at the Menlo Circus Club.
4. I’ll meet friends for coffee at Barrone’s Café
5. Grab dinner at The Goose!

What is your music of choice while training? Do you have a favorite go-to song that motivates you?

I love Justin Bieber, 5 Seconds of Summer and Selena Gomez. I have the music taste of your average 13-year-old girl. I also enjoy working out to EDM, hip-hip or rap.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I have a mean balance beam routine as well as a solid ice skating routine. All made up when I was a kid, after being inspired watching either the Summer or Winter Olympics. All routines are done on land, of course (ice skating routine originally done on inline roller-skates). Let’s just say when I do them, most of my coaches and teammates are laughing at me.

If you were not an athlete, what would you be doing?

I always wanted to perform as a kid. Sports allows me to perform. I’d like to be a sportscaster, or a photographer or a model. Or maybe just living in San Francisco with a normal job.

What are your favorite lifestyle websites?

Refinery 29 and Cupcakes and Cashmere

What are your personal care indulgences and favorite products? Would you consider your beauty routine low or high?

I think I’m low maintenance. I like Moroccan oil for my hair and I use First Aid Beauty products at night to moisturize.

If you are to indulge, what’s your go-to snack?

Cookie dough. Frozen marshmallows!
