VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — The case against the suspect in the murder Grassfield High School student is moving forward.
18-year-old Bryant Austin Cueto was shot and killed on May 1 in the parking lot of an Applebee’s restaurant on General Booth Boulevard.
Officers arrested Andarion McInnis on May 10 on murder and robbery charges. His charges were certified to the grand jury on Thursday during a preliminary hearing.
McInnis’ trial is tentatively set for October 31.
A juvenile has also been arrested in connection to the shooting. The minor is facing charges including murder, robbery and use of a firearm. He’s being held at the Virginia Beach Juvenile Detention Center, according to police.
