HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Hampton Police say three people arrested in connection to a death investigation were all acquaintances of the victim.
29-year-old Jordan Lewis Madden was reported missing by a family member on July 3. The relative told police that Madden’s last known contact with family was at about 9 p.m. on June 30.
At 10:48 a.m. on July 8, officers found human remains in a wooded area off of North Campus Parkway. The remains were identified as Madden.
The cause of death has not yet been determined.
Miranda Carns, 20, Cameron Riss, 25, John Sawyer, 26, all three are from Hampton, are charged with concealing a dead body in connection to the case. Police say they all three were acquaintances of Madden’s.
