Man wanted for deadly shooting in Accomack County

ACCOMACK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — A 24-year-old man is being sought on charges related to a deadly shooting near Nathaniel Street in Mappsville last Friday.

The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office says reports were received of gunshots being fired between two cars on Lankford Highway near Mappsville the night of June 24.

Another caller reported a gunshot victim was located on Nathaniel Street.

Emergency responders found a man at the location — now identified as 39-year-old Fardale Antonio Johnson — and pronounced him dead at scene.

The Sheriff’s Office says warrants have been issued for 24-year-old Tyqon Demetrius Robins.

He is wanted for first-degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle.
