Chartway Federal Credit Union robbed in Virginia Beach

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – The Chartway Federal Credit Union on Kellam Road was robbed Tuesday morning.

Virginia Beach Police say they responded to the bank after receiving the emergency call just after 10 a.m.

The suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. No injuries were reported.

Police released this description of the suspect: Black male, dark complexion, with vitiligo, or blotchy skin, on the left side of his face, arms and hands. He’s believed to be in his 30s, about 6-feet tall with a thin build.
