YORK COUNTY, Va. (WAVY) — Authorities have arrested three people for violently assaulting and robbing someone in York County.

The York-Poquoson Sheriff’s office says deputies responded to Mary Immaculate Hospital for report of an assault victim who was being treating.

Deputies say the victim had some teeth knocked out, a broken nose that required surgery, a broken orbital bone and several stitches.

An investigation revealed that this person was beaten and robbed of undisclosed items on May 30.

Austin Lee Drees, 21, Christopher D. Drees, 24, and Wesley M. Collier, 20, were arrested without incident at their home on Austin’s Point, according to the sheriff’s office.

All three have been charged with aggravated malicious wounding, robbery and assault by mob.

Collier was also served warrants for two grand larcenies, which the sheriff’s office says are unrelated to this case.

According to the sheriff’s office, the victim was released from the hospital on June 2.
