VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Detectives are looking to identify the man who is wanted in the shooting death of an ODU student in April.

Darren Campbell, 20, was found suffering from a gunshot wound on Hill Meadow Drive in Virginia Beach on April 23. Officers were called to the scene twice the night of the shooting.

The first time, it was for shots fired in the 400 block of Hill Meadow Drive. Officers arrived at a large party, but reportedly found no evidence of a gun having been fired.

Police were called back more than three hours later, where they found Campbell. He was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
