Video: Remnants of Bonnie hit Hatteras

CAPE HATTERAS, N.C. (WAVY) — The National Hurricane Center has issued an advisory that Bonnie has redeveloped into a tropical depression off the coast of North Carolina.

Bonnie formed as a tropical storm last week, prior to Memorial Day weekend.

The remnants of Bonnie has brought heavy rainfall to portions of the Hampton Roads area as well as northeast North Carolina.

The National Hurricane Center said Thursday morning Bonnie could have maximum sustained winds of 20 mph, and is moving northeast at 9 mph.
