Kam Chancellor’s celebrity basketball game packs Ted Constant Center

NORFOLK (WAVY) – The day started with the Bam Bam Spring Jam Memorial Day Cookout at Town Point Park, and wrapped up with a star-studded celebrity basketball game at the Ted Constant Center.

Norfolk native and all-pro Seattle Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor, who played at Maury High School, was able to bring thousands of fans to see the likes of Kyle O’Quinn, Michael Vick, Richard Sherman, Marshawn Lynch, Ticha Penicheiro, EJ Manuel and a number of other big names play an organized basketball game.

Allen Iverson led the All Star squad as head coach, while WAVY TV’s own Katie Collet and Anita Blanton both played for Kam’s “Boom Squad.”
