All clear given following bomb threat at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Police and fire officials have given the all clear following a bomb threat made at the Chesapeake Regional Medical, Saturday afternoon.

Captain Scott Clifford of Chesapeake Fire told WAVY.com that the hospital was made aware of the bomb threat at 4:23 p.m. Units arrived on scene at 4:34 p.m.

According to officials, the building was never evacuated. No signs of a bomb were ever found.

The incident remains under investigation.
