NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A woman who rear-ended a car on Chesapeake Boulevard Monday morning, crashed into a tree after going back toward the scene following the accident.
Norfolk Police spokesman Daniel Hudson says a woman traveling northbound rear-ended a car a few blocks from Five Points. The crash was reported around 10 a.m.
Hudson says she then decided to make a u-turn to go back toward the crash scene and went up the curb, hit a tree and spun around.
There were no injuries reported in either crash, according to Hudson.
The woman was detained at the scene, and Hudson says charges are pending.
