Norfolk Police seek suspect in armed robbery at gas station

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police are searching for a suspect after an armed robbery at a gas station Saturday.

Shortly after 9:15 p.m., police say a man entered the Sunoco gas station at 4528 E. Princess Anne Road and took out a gun. The man then stole cash from the register and other items before fleeing the store.

Detectives described the suspect a black male with a light complexion standing around 6 feet tall. The man was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a T-shirt that was blue on the front and red on the back, dark jean shorts that went below the knee, white socks and black tennis shoes with white stripes on the bottom. The man’s head and face were covered with a white T-shirt during the robbery.
