Chesapeake Police searching for serial shoplifter

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Police are searching for a man they say has stolen nearly $1,000 worth of merchandise from several Chesapeake convenience stores.

Police say that between March 21 and April 20, the unknown man is suspected of shoplifting at least nine times at various convenience stores in the areas of Deep Creek and Western Branch.
