NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Crews responded to the scene of a car crash on Llewellyn Avenue at West 20th Street in Norfolk Monday morning.

Norfolk Police tweeted a picture from the scene around 10:30 a.m., which shows a sedan that has had its entire roof taken off.

Police spokesman Daniel Hudson said a woman inside the car had to be rescued by crews — which is why the roof of the car had to be removed.

Hudson says the woman tuned an Enterprise Truck, and the two vehicles got stuck together.

The road was closed in both directions while crews cleared the scene.
