Uber driver aids south Nashville shooting victim

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man who was shot in south Nashville flagged down an Uber driver for help early Friday morning.

It happened near Hermitage and Fairfield avenues just after Midnight.

Police told News 2 the victim had been shot in the leg when he was able to approach an Uber driver, who then found a police officer.

The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the victim is not cooperating with investigators but he did say a black man in a green shirt robbed him of $50.
