One in custody, two wanted for murder of Bertie County teen

BERTIE COUNTY, N.C. (WAVY) — One man is in custody and deputies are searching for two others for the murder of a North Carolina teen last month.

On Friday, the Bertie County Sheriff’s Office obtained warrants for Dominique Brimley, 19, De’Andre Rascoe, 19, and Devonte Holley, 26.

Brimley was arrested and is being held at the Bertie/Martin Regional Jail without bond. Rascoe and Holley are still at large.

All three men are charged with first degree murder, felony conspiracy and breaking and entering in connection to the death of Shaquan Taylor.

19-year-old Taylor was found dead inside his home on April 14.
