Kroger recalls frozen vegetable brand after Listeria scare

Simple Truth Organic Mixed Vegetables

(WAVY) – Kroger grocery stores have issued a recall Tuesday for Simple Truth Organic Mixed Vegetables because of a possible Listeria contamination.

According to Kroger, the company was tipped off about the contamination from a supplier. No illnesses have yet to be reported.

Kroger has removed the item from stores. Also they have initiated a Customer Recall Notification System that alerts customers who may have purchased the item.

Anyone who has bought the mixed vegetables should not consume and should return them to a store for a full refund or replacement of another item at the same value.
